Ethernet Switches
We can provide a wide range of Ethernet-based switches which provide increasing levels of functionality from basic connectivity to high-end, multilayer intelligent service switching solutions.

Unmanaged Switches
These are for home or small businesses alike who appreciate the affordability and fantastic performance of entry level switches. Designed to be installed without any configuration they are an ideal way to start with networking.

Managed Switches
Designed for the larger networks these “Rack Mountable” switches provide information and control capabilities. These switches provide auto-negotiating 10/100Mbps dual-speed support for all ports, and industry-standard management capability.

With 10/100Mbps support, these switches provide smooth integration to 100Mbps Fast Ethernet and seamless integration of 10Mbps and 100Mbps segments. Port trunking and VLANs functions are supported in many models.

Gigabit ports for server deployment come either as standard features or as options.

Networking – Products Wireless

ADSL Routers
A router connection is usually the best way to connect to your high speed Broadband network. Routers allow multiple users to use an Internet service at the same time so everyone can enjoy high-end Internet functions like streaming video and audio. Share files, printers and other peripherals, and save money by accessing the Internet through a single account.

The latest generation of products gives users the advantage of having a number of 10/100 Ethernet ports and 1x USB connection to enable multiple users to share a single connection. The majority of routers are configured via a simple web interface so is compatible with all operating systems that are TCP/IP compliant.

Wireless ADSL Routers
A wireless router connection is particularly attractive alternative to standard broadband routers when you want to connect devices that are in locations where it is difficult or expensive to run Ethernet cables.

Wireless Routers allow you to wirelessly use your Internet connection providing the same functionality as a standard router - But its Wireless!

The latest generation of ADSL Wireless 54/108 Mbps Routers are four devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, There's also a built-in 4-port Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed ADSL Internet connection. Finally, the ADSL modem connects the Router to your ADSL.

Wireless Router Features

  • Built-in ADSL modem & wireless access point
  • True SPI Firewall business-class security
  • Switch ports lets you directly connect computers
  • Up to 200 Mbps LAN port speeds
  • Easy, Web browser-based setup
  • Eliminates the need for a separate modem.

Wireless Access Point Features

  • Confirms to IEEE 108Mb/s 802.11g
  • Modulation : (DSSS)
  • 3 Non Overlapping Channels
  • Wireless Data rates: up to 108Mbps (Automatic Rate Selection)
  • Wireless Security
    - upto 128-bit WEP encryption
    - MAC Address Access Control
    - Hide SSID
    - Disable Wireless

ADSL Wireless 54/108 Mbps provides the ideal solution for users looking to access their high-speed broadband connection wirelessly. Routers comply to all the IEEE standards for ADSL and are compatible with all the leading ISP's in the UK (excluding AOL).

Wireless Networking is now a stable and very viable alternative for data networking as it enables greater flexibility for users who need to move around the office or home without the restrictions of fixed cabling structures.

Industries and organisations who have restricted facilities for cabling such as; manufacturing, hotels, hospitals and colleges etc find wireless environments invaluable.

Wireless is also an excellent environment for networks run by small to meduim sized businesses or home users, who often need to relocate offices more often than larger organisations. The network moves with the company, no need to worry about cabling facilities or restrictions, the network is wireless and needs minimal support when moving locations.

Business Benefits: Implementing wireless technology can mean real benefits for your business, some of which can be measured precisely in financial terms and others which, although less easy to measure, have real benefits for your staff and business processes. Where does wireless fit in?
As broadband technology becomes more widespread, the demand for a higher level of functionality and convenience is growing. Wireless Local Area Networks (also known as Wireless LANs, or WLANs) are becoming increasingly common.  Wireless LAN technology is changing the face of local area networks. The majority of Wireless LANs are based on a technology generally known as 802.11b, its IEEE specification number. The trademarked name Wi-Fi has become synonymous with 802.11b (and is much easier to remember).

A wireless local area network gives you the functionality of a traditional Ethernet network but with more flexibility. Data rates are comparable, with the added freedom of mobility for users. Data is transferred over a radio frequency, which eliminates the need for messy and costly cables and patching.

Wi-Fi technology provides a high-speed connection to your local area network, allowing users to move freely around the business environment whilst maintaining a local and an Internet connection. Data can be sent and received at speeds ranging from 54 and up to 108 Mbit/s and can operate at distances over 100 meters.
